Band Pass Filters
AMPL, broadband and narrowband Band Pass Filters are available in the frequency upto 18GHz. AMPL has considerable expertise in development of Band Pass Filters for GSM, CDMA, DCS etc, mobile / cellular communication frequency bands. In addition to these filters a range of lumped element band pass filters are available from 20MHz to 1GHz frequency range. Through the use of appropriate cross couplings transmission zeros can be introduced on either side of passband to improve selectivity. Various band pass Filter configurations used are :
  • Combline
  • Interdigital
  • Printed (Suspended Substrate Stripline, Microstrip)
  • Helical
  • High 'Q' Cavity Filters
  • Lumped
  • Band Pass Filters with broad pass bands can be formed by cascading individual high pass and low pass filters. By cascading additional low pass filters with band pass filter, wide stop bands can be achieved. For narrow pass bands the most appropriate technology, depending upon factors such as loss, power handling, size & weight is chosen.
