The blade antenna is basically derived from a monopole antenna and it works in conjunction with a ground plane. The blade antenna is fitted with a fiberglass radome which is aerody- namically shaped to offer low air drags. The radomes will also protect the antenna from the specified environmental conditions.
AMPL has product ionized a blade antenna meeting the customized requirements. The blade antenna is suitable for mounting on the specified air borne platform. The antenna is vertically polarized and offers near omni directional coverage in azimuth plane. |
