Cell Phone De-activator
In many exclusive places like places of worship, conference halls, auditoriums, libraries etc., it is essential that the tranquility of the environment is maintained. Many cell phone users bring their cell phones to such places and create disturbance by making phone calls as well as receiving calls. It is therefore required that in such places the mobile cell phones are made non-functional.
Cell Phone De-activator has been developed by Astra Microwave Products Ltd. in order to meet this objective of keeping the area free from Cell Phone disturbance. This equipment generates strong interfering signals in the down link band which creates certain level of carrier to noise ratio at the receiver front end of the cell phone. The
De-activator makes the cell inoperative and it becomes cut-off from the Base Terminal Station. All the signal strength bars on the set disappear giving it a blank look and the cell user goes out of coverage range of the BTS. The cell phone neither receives a call nor a call can be made from cell phone.
Depending upon the area to be covered and type of geography of the area various power level models are available. These are available in the range of 25 watt, 5 watt and 1 watt power.
